The Episcopal Church embraces a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being; people of all genders and sexual orientations serve as bishops, priests, and deacons in our church. Laypeople and clergy work together in leadership and governance.
About The Chaplain
Matthew Bowers
Matthew Bowers is an avid supporter of college and young adult ministry in the Episcopal Church. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Religious Studies. He currently also serves as the Director of Youth Ministry and Programming for the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida. For fun, Matthew is interested in TTRPG's, Disney, and fantasy novels. His goal in at USF is to offer the Chapel Center as resource for students to help navigate the tough times of their faith and their life.
